  1. Dear all, currently I'm exploring the wonderful work of Luiz Bonfa, and I'm particularly fond of his his solo stuff on classical guitar. Since he recorded so many albums with other musicians and with him playing steel-string guitar or even electric guitar, I'm wondering if some people here could help me to find more of his solo recordings where he's playing on classical guitar. I already have the 'Solo in Rio' album which I like very much and now I'm looking for more. Hence, any recommendations (album titles or song titles) would be highly appreciated. Many thanks, Nate
  2. Hi all, I just started to play bossa nova guitar, and I'm wondering if there are any special bossa/samba scales I can learn that have a 'brazilian sound'. If so, I'd be very happy if someone here could post some of them or direct me to a link where I could find some. greetings, Nate
  3. thank you so much, Eugenio!

  5. Hi all, I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I'm wondering if someone here knows the name of the female singer who's singing 'Manha de carnaval' on Bonfa & Jobim's 'Orfeu negro' album (the last piece on the album). Many thanks in advance, Nate
